Rayna finds herself standing on the auction stage. With the bitter realization of knowing there is nothing she can do to stop it. She lives in a world of segregation, condemned to a life of poverty. Everything is just out of her reach even the knowledge of the time before her own, the one where Sorcerers determined the fate of mankind. That history has been erased and standing in its memory is a cruel monarchy.

 

Five hundred years after the great-war between men and Sorcerer, rebellions are sparking again and Rayna is in the heart of them all. The King has killed her family causing her to go on the run with a group of young dissenters. A letter from her parents is the only clue she has to unlocking the secret of their deaths. More importantly the clues left behind will bring the truth of the world’s past to light, a truth that has been hidden for too long. She and her group must find the Sorcerers to save themselves from what is to come.
